Description
The Senior Network Security Engineer at ADACOM ensures the implementation and maintenance of advanced security solutions for customers. They collaborate with sales teams, document installations, troubleshoot issues, and facilitate business processes. With expertise in network security systems and strong technical skills, they support existing and new customers while staying updated on industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
The Senior Network Security Engineer at ADACOM ensures the implementation and maintenance of advanced security solutions for customers. They collaborate with sales teams, document installations, troubleshoot issues, and facilitate business processes. With expertise in network security systems and strong technical skills, they support existing and new customers while staying updated on industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in ADACOM’s security services offering to customers (installing, testing, maintaining and designing advanced security solutions)
- Collaborate with sales teams to build deployment plans for new customers to understand and document customer expectations
- Document new installations, troubleshooting issues and resolution actions for future reference
- Facilitate business process design and development to leverage rapid response capabilities
- Support of ADACOM existing and new customers
- Provide timely consultation for problem resolution and shared resources negotiation
- Ensure successful ongoing operations with knowledge transfer to customers
- Stays updated regarding new technology through industry news
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications or similar field is mandatory
- 3-5 years hands-on experience
- Knowledge of Linux and Microsoft operating systems
- Experience with Virtualization technologies
- Strong knowledge of Web services, authentication services, TCP/IP, DNS
- Strong knowledge in IP networking (Routing, Switching, VLANs, Spanning Tree)
- Strong knowledge of security systems such as Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, WAF
- Experience with Firewall products such as Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco
- Experience with Load Balancer solutions
- Experience with Email Security solutions
- Experience with infrastructure services of Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS will be considered a plus
- Network Security Certifications such as Fortinet NSE4-NSE8, Check Point CCSE, CCTE, CCSM/-E, Cisco CCNP Security
- Strong analytical abilities
- Organized, responsive and highly thorough problem solver
- Have excellent team work and interpersonal communication skills
