Warehouse Supervisor _ Sindo

Your Purpose

As a Warehouse Supervisor you are a member of the executive team of our warehouse in Sindos. You will orchestrate all related activities, to achieve operational excellence across departments within the warehouse. Moreover, you will be an inspirational and supportive leader, to build highly engaging teams, where people grow and feel valued.

What you will focus on

• Ensure the efficient distribution and storage of products within the warehouse
• Participate in budget preparation, collaborating with Warehouse Manager, conducting regular audits for the actual performance, proposing corrective actions if necessary
• Participate in process development and control the storage areas operation under own responsibility
• Work in close collaboration with Buying Department, in receiving information regarding expected product orders, ensuring the availability of storage spaces, and managing stock products to minimize cost/damages
• Assess optimum use of tools and relevant warehouse equipment
• Conduct of the inventory audit to ensure accurate accounting depiction of stock and fixed warehouse equipment

What you have

• BSc in Logistics & Supply Chain, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Finance or any relevant field. MSc would be considered an asset
• At least 2 years experience in a relevant position, in a structured industrial environment with a clear production cycle, having the responsibility for production activity
• Fluency in English language, both written & verbal
• MS Office literacy - experience in the use of ERP and WMS systems would be considered an asset
