Senior Data Analyst

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Governance Office team.

Key Accountabilities

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT to ensure alignment on data governance objectives and priorities
• Develop dashboards for Key Quality Indicators in PowerBI to monitor the effectiveness of data governance initiatives across all data domains
• Design, update & maintain data lineage & dictionary along with data engineer, in relevant systems - in collaboration with IT asset owners and the IT Unit
• Analyse existing data governance-impacting processes and identify areas for improvement to ensure compliance with doValue DG¹ standards
• Collaborate with data owners/ stewards for design, documentation, maintenance & monitoring of business glossary, data dictionary, DQ² controls and KQIs³ for all data points under their responsibility, across all relevant system(s) reflected in the finalised data lineage for the specific data points
• Act as the operational liaison and approver for DG-related roles and access rights in relevant DG system(s) (i.e., Azure Purview)
• Capture and transform business requirements to technical solutions

Professional Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Analysis. Data Consulting and banking experience will be considered as an asset
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Economics or related discipline. Master’s Degree will be considered as an asset

Core Competencies & Knowledge

• Proficiency in ETL Processes ( SQL) and dara management principles
• Analytical skills to interpret data and provide insights in the areas of data quality & data management
• Strong Knowledge of PowerBI
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills and knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Greek and in English
