Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the preparation of preliminary studies for Conventional and Alternative Production Projects regarding equipment and installations of Chemical Processes (water treatment systems - reverse osmosis, deionization, etc., chemical injection and boiler sampling systems, industrial wastewater and urban sewage treatment systems, flue gas treatment systems, equipment corrosion protection, etc.)


• Participates in the preparation of technical specifications, studies, plans, and descriptions of equipment and installations of Chemical Processes in Requests for Contractors Selection Procedures of Conventional and Alternative Production Projects and in the preparation of related Contracts


• Participates in the budgeting of equipment and installations of Chemical Processes for Conventional and Alternative Production Projects


• Contributes to the preparation of the licensing application file for equipment and installations of Chemical Processes for Conventional and Alternative Production Projects


• Undertakes the control and review of the studies, design documents and equipment and Chemical Process Installations of the Contractors during the execution of Conventional and Alternative Production Projects


• Participates in the Acceptance Procedures of Conventional and Alternative Production Projects and in resolving disputes with Contractors regarding pending reviews of equipment and installations of Chemical Processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a University or Diploma in Chemical Engineering


• Master’s degree of Science or MBA will be considered an additional qualification


• At least three (3) years of relevant experience in the preparation of studies and design documents for Chemical Processes


• Work experience in a consulting company or in an industrial activity will be considered as an additional qualification


• License to practice as an Engineer in the relevant specialty of the degree of study


• Good knowledge of the English language


• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Internet


• Knowledge of Autocad will be considered as an additional qualification


• Knowledge of computer packages for the design of water treatment facilities and the treatment of liquid industrial waste and urban sewage will be considered as an additional qualification


• Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)


• Availability for urgent geographical relocations
