Πλήρης απασχόλησηWe are seeking a talented and highly motivated Accountant/Team Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are looking to combine their accounting expertise with organizational and administrative skills, working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment for a permanent, full-time contract.
As an Accountant/Team Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our finance and operations teams. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in day-to-day accounting tasks, and providing administrative support to various departments. The role requires fluency in both English and Greek, as you will be working with diverse teams, clients, and documents in both languages.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Duties:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payment of invoices.
- Reconcile bank statements and assist in managing financial discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Prepare and submit VAT and other local tax filings (in both English and Greek).
- Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Support audits and assist external auditors as required.
Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative assistance to the finance and operations teams.
- Organize and manage team schedules, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Coordinate internal and external communications, ensuring clarity and accuracy in both English and Greek.
- Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring efficient office operations.
- Assist with the creation and editing of documents, reports, and presentations.
Cross-Functional Support:
- Collaborate with team members on various ad-hoc projects and assignments.
- Assist in creating and maintaining systems for tracking expenses and budgets.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial matters.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting or administrative support.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Languages:
- Fluency in both English and Greek (written and spoken) is essential.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and regulations.
Personal Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
