About The Job
The Backend Software Engineer drives research and development efforts, creating innovative services to enhance our advertising products. Collaborating across teams, you'll architect, build, and deliver high-quality code, shaping the platform's future.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and test new technologies and services to enhance our platform.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality, production-ready code.
- Contribute to the complete software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
- Develop multiple innovative advertising products to meet business needs.
- Work closely with the frontend team to ensure seamless integration and enhance user experience.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
- Gather and address technical and design requirements to meet project goals.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify and implement new features.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Solid hands-on programming experience in one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, Python, Java, Go, Rust
- Strong knowledge of version control with Git and git-based workflows.
- Experience with relational databases like MySQL.
- Familiarity with Docker.
- Ability to quickly learn, understand and work with new emerging technologies and methodologies.
- Great communication skills. Should be able to respond to feature requests, bugs reports, and ad-hoc questions.
- Solid experience working with APIs, including REST, GraphQL, RPC, etc.
