KOIA All-Suite Wellbeing Resort is a 51-room exclusive hotel in Agios Fokas, just 6 km from the main town and port of Kos. Upon its opening in 2023, it reshaped the hotel landscape in Kos with its 5-star castle-like accommodation. Inspired by the Wellness principles of Hippocrates, the hotel offers a transformative experience that allows its guests not only to relax, but to rebuild their bodies and minds while living a detox experience in a constant touch with nature and the purer materials and ingredients. The hotel’s Cliff & Cave Suites provide breathtaking views and bring guests in direct touch with elements of local nature, while privacy, exclusivity, and unique Gastronomic and Wellness Concepts are among the top features of the “KOIA Experience.”
Απαραίτητα Προσόντα:
- Learning the concept, adapt the policies of the hotel with the concept, train the staff on the concept, monitor the staff regarding the storytelling of the concept to the clients and the relative efficacy.
- Supervise work at all levels (receptionists, kitchen staff, maids, office employees etc.) and set clear objectives for the F&B and Warehouse departments.
- Monthly reporting and monitoring on inventory, warehouse and cost controlling
- Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model
- Manage budgets/expenses, analyze and interpret financial information and monitor sales and profits
- Maintain statistical and financial records
- Develop and implement an intuitive and efficient marketing strategy to promote the hotel’s services
- Plan and monitor room bookings
- Communicate with customers when appropriate (welcome them in the facilities, address their complaints, find solutions to problems, offer information etc.)
- Deal with maintenance issues, shortages in staff or equipment, renovations etc.
- Recruit, train and supervise staff
- Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, travel agencies, event/conference planners etc.
- Inspect facilities regularly and enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards
- Ensure GDPR compliance, licensing laws and quality standards
- Handling customer complaints and queries
- Organize and develop Quality and Enviromental systems
- Requirements and skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel/Hospitality Management or Business Administration
- 2 years’ minimum proven experience as Hotel Manager or Operations Manager at the luxury property sector
- Understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws and guidelines
- Working knowledge of MS Office and other hotel management software
- Excellent customer service skills as well as a business mindset
- Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
- Reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Outstanding leadership skills and a great attention to detail
- Fluency in English and Greek; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Recommendation letters from previous employer/Hotel owner
