Job Role: As a Waiter/Waitress at Miraggio Thermal Spa youare an integral part of the dining experience, responsible for providingexceptional guest service to our guests. Your role is to ensure that guestshave a memorable and enjoyable dining experience by taking orders, servingmeals, and accommodating special requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Welcome: Greet guests as theyarrive at the restaurant and provide menus.
- Order Taking: Takeguests' food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and noting any dietaryrestrictions or special requests.
- Food and Beverage Service: Servemeals and beverages promptly and accurately, following established presentationand service standards.
- Menu Knowledge:Familiarize yourself with the restaurant's menu, including daily specials andwine selections. Describe and recommend menu items to guests.
- Guest Service: Provide attentive andpersonalized service to guests, offering recommendations, answering questions,and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience.
- Table Maintenance:Maintain clean and well-organized dining tables, including setting andresetting tables and ensuring proper tableware and condiments are available.
- Order Accuracy: Verify the accuracy of orders before serving them to guests. Address anydiscrepancies or issues with orders promptly.
- Cash Handling:Process guest payments accurately, handle cash, credit cards, and mobilepayments, and maintain a balanced check or cash drawer.
- Upselling: Suggest additional items orspecial promotions to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staffand other service team members to ensure efficient service and a seamlessdining experience.
- Special Requests:Accommodate special guest requests, such as dietary preferences, allergies, orpersonalized dining experiences, with a focus on exceeding customerexpectations.
- Safety and Cleanliness:Follow hygiene and sanitation standards, including personal hygiene and thecleanliness of dining areas.
Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent. Additional hospitality education or service trainingis a plus.
- 1 yearminimum experience on similar position , leadership in hospitality stronglyrequired
- Excellentknowledge of Greek and English languages. Third language will be consideredaccordingly.
- Exceptionalcommunication
- Familiaritywith POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Abilityto prioritize tasks, work under pressure with provided resources, manageworkload using own initiative and sufficiently cover a multitask position.
- Availabilityto work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
