Responsibilities:
- Submits proposals for the formulation of solid and liquid fuel supply policy
- Coordinates the actions, in collaboration with the relevant levels of the Departments of Production Division, to determine the supply needs of liquid and solid fuels, lubricants and chemicals from third parties
- Participates in the standardization of commercial terms of invitations and contracts and in particular contracts with specialized subjects
- Undertakes the execution of counterparty selection procedures, the monitoring and management of the relevant contracts, until their final settlement, regarding the supplies of solid and liquid fuels and charters of tankers for the transportation of liquid fuels as well as chemicals and lubricants
- Participates in negotiation procedures and drafts documents for the awarding of contracts with a specialized subject of significant value and/or duration and/or third companies
- Supports users in the formulation of the specifications for solid and liquid fuels, lubricants and chemicals
- Monitors developments in the international market and processes guidelines and issues instructions for the management of lubricants, chemical liquids and solid fuels
- Monitors the market, collects and processes cost data of the supplied items of their responsibility to formulate the necessary corporate policy
- Submits proposals for the formulation of a corporate policy and the coordination and supervision of the disposal of by-products of solid fuel combustion (e.g. ash), petroleum residues, waste lubricating oils (WOL), etc., in collaboration with the relevant Departments of PPC
- Provides data for monitoring the consistency and general transactional behavior of the counterparty contracts of PPC
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma from a University in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience in contract management or in the implementation and conclusion of procurement contracts
- Experience in related industries and in particular in Energy and/or Fuels and/or Lubricants and/or Chemicals will be considered an additional qualification
- Experience in fuels and/or chemicals and/or lubricants and/or waste management will be considered an additional qualification
- Technical skills in methodologies, tools and techniques of supply chain procurement processes will be considered an additional qualification
- Knowledge and use of enterprise planning systems in procurement and supply chain management (e.g. SAP) will be considered an additional qualification
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Internet
- Good knowledge of the English language
