Responsibilities:
- Stays constantly up to date for the framework that governs PPC Procurement, Projects and Services
- Conducts market research of economic operators, performs cost-benefit analyses for the awarding of contracts and keeps a relevant pricing file, with the aim of optimizing procurement
- Participates in the standardization of the commercial terms of the invitations and contracts and in particular contracts with specialized subjects
- Undertakes the central handling of contract awarding procedures for procurement and service projects, from the drawing up of the invitation to the signing of the contract
- Participates in negotiation procedures and prepares the documents for the awarding of contracts with a specialized subject of significant value and/or duration and/or third companies
- Monitors the implementation of the above contracts, up to their final liquidation
- Coordinates the quality control procedures of the above-mentioned supplied materials and equipment, with the support of the relevant Departments of PPC or other specialized for this purpose bodies
- Oversees the transport and delivery of the above-mentioned supplied items to the warehouses or their destination points
- Provides data for monitoring the consistency and general transactional behavior of the counterparty contracts of PPC
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma from a University or Technological Educational Institute
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience in contract management or in the implementation and conclusion of procurement contracts
- Experience in relevant industries and in particular in Energy will be considered an additional qualification
- Technical skills in methodologies, tools and technical procurement and supply chain processes will be considered an additional qualification
- Knowledge and use of internal business planning systems in procurement and supply chain management (e.g. SAP) will be considered an additional qualification
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Internet
- Good knowledge of the English language
