Responsibilities

  Support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and coordinating food preparation and service.

  Supervise and guide the kitchen team, ensuring consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.

  
  


• 
  

  Oversee mise en place, preparation schedules, and the smooth running of service.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and contribute to effective cost control and waste reduction.

  
  


• 
  

  Support menu development, new dishes, and improvements to existing recipes.

  
  


• 
  

  Train and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative and professional working environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain high standards of organization, efficiency, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a senior kitchen position within a hotel or professional restaurant.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong culinary skills and a solid understanding of kitchen operations.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in supervising, coordinating, and supporting a kitchen team.

  
  


• 
  

  Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, stock control, and kitchen cost management.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to remain effective under pressure.

  
  


• 
  

  A hands-on approach, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for gastronomy.

  
  


• 
  

  Good command of English will be considered an asset.
