Our platform goes beyond traditional ticketing by helping event organizers increase revenue through official ticket resale, community-driven marketing, cross-selling of products and experiences, and powerful real-time analytics.

Since launching, we have powered more than 1,000,000 ticket sales across concerts, festivals, sports events, cinemas, theatres, and cultural experiences. Today, we work with some of the leading event organizers and venues in Greece while continuously expanding internationally, with active collaborations across Europe and Australia, including major productions such as the YE Live concert in Albania.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

As ComeTogether grows into a broader event commerce platform, we need a senior engineer to take real ownership of the core product surfaces that power ticket sales, access control, and the attendee experience.

We are looking for someone who treats the product as their own, takes full responsibility for what they ship, and is comfortable being a primary technical point of contact rather than one cog in a large team. Ownership is the single most important quality we are hiring for. This is a hands-on senior/lead role, not a pure management one.

THE PRODUCT YOU WILL OWN

Web application (Next.js + Node.js). The customer and organiser facing web platform. You will lead the frontend in Next.js and contribute to the Node.js backend APIs, integrations, and the data flows behind ticketing and access control.

Scanner app (React Native). The mobile app used by staff at venue gates to validate tickets in real time. It has to be fast, resilient on flaky event-day networks, and dependable under load when thousands of people arrive at once.

Wallet app (React Native). The mobile wallet where attendees store and manage their tickets: purchase, transfer, present at the gate, and receive event updates.

WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY DO

Lead frontend development of the Next.js web application: build features end to end, improve performance, and raise UI/UX quality.

Contribute to the Node.js backend that supports the frontend, building and maintaining APIs, third-party integrations, and data flows.

Develop and grow the React Native wallet app with new features, smoother UX, and tighter integration with the ticketing backend.

Maintain, expand and harden the React Native scanner app, keeping ticket validation fast and reliable even under peak event-day load and poor connectivity.

Take ownership of production reliability, including time-critical incidents during live events when there is no room for downtime.

Work directly with product, design and operations to scope, estimate and ship new functionality at the fast pace the business moves at.

Make pragmatic architectural decisions, keep code quality high through reviews and testing, and document and de-risk knowledge as the team grows.

Thoughtfully integrate AI tools into your development pipeline, adopting them consciously and strategically, where they add real value.

Use automation and workflow tools such as n8n to connect systems, automate internal processes, and reduce manual work across the product.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

5+ years of professional software engineering experience in comparable, hands-on roles.

Solid frontend expertise with Next.js / React and TypeScript, and a good eye for performance and UX.

Practical backend experience with Node.js, building, integrating, and maintaining APIs.

Strong production experience with React Native. You have shipped and maintained real mobile apps, not just prototypes.

A strong ownership mindset. You take full responsibility for a mature codebase end to end: read it, debug it, refactor it, ship it and stand behind it.

A conscious, strategic approach to AI. You already use AI tools and apply good judgement about where they genuinely improve quality, not adoption for hype's sake.

Hands-on experience with automation and workflow tools such as n8n, or similar, for example Zapier or Make.

You thrive in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment and communicate clearly. English required, Greek a plus.

Preferably based in Thessaloniki, or able to join the team's regular office days there. Candidates elsewhere in Greece considered if the fit is strong.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience operating systems under high, spiky load.

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and mobile release pipelines (App Store / Play Store).

App store deployment and over-the-air (OTA) update experience for React Native.

WHAT WE OFFER

45,000 to 70,000 EUR plus substantial equity. At this stage of ComeTogether, equity is intended to be a significant part of the overall upside for the right person, not a symbolic add-on.
