APHI MIRA (ex Miramare) located in Ixia, Rhodes currently seeks the position of the Guest Experience Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a confident, service-driven Guest Experience Manager to lead the guest journey and ensure every stay is memorable. The successful candidate will combine hands-on hospitality, strong leadership and attention to detail to deliver personalised service, resolve concerns effectively and inspire a high-performing team.

Key job responsibilities:

• Deliver an exceptional, personalised guest experience throughout every stage of the stay, maintaining a visible and welcoming presence across the hotel.


• Recognise and anticipate the needs of loyalty members, repeat guests, VIPs and guests requiring additional assistance, ensuring all benefits and special requests are fulfilled.


• Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally, coordinating with the relevant departments and following through to resolution.


• Lead, train and motivate the Guest Experience team, conduct daily briefings, assign priorities and ensure consistent compliance with hotel’s standards procedures.


• Work closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and other departments to coordinate arrivals, special occasions, events and tailored guest experiences.


• Monitor arrivals and guest profiles in the hotel’s systems, manage pre-arrival communication and maintain accurate, up-to-date guest information.


• Build strong relationships with guests and tour operator representatives, respond to online reviews and support the hotel’s reputation and social media activity.


• Promote hotel services and facilities, support loyalty programme enrolment and contribute to guest satisfaction, quality and commercial targets.


• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and company standards, and undertake Duty Manager responsibilities when required.

Requirements:

• At least three years’ experience in guest relations or guest experience within a luxury hotel.


• Fluency in Greek and English; additional languages will be considered an asset.


• A degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or a related field is desirable.


• Strong leadership, team-development and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate others and maintain high service standards.


• Outstanding communication, active listening, problem-solving, organisational and multitasking abilities.


• Confident user of Microsoft Office, hotel systems and digital communication tools.


• Commercial awareness, including promotional, sales and basic budgeting knowledge.


• Flexibility to work according to hotel operational requirements.
