APHI MIRA (ex Miramare) located in Ixia, Rhodes currently seeks the position of the Rooms Division Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Rooms Division manager is responsible for the overall management of Rooms Division Operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Reservations, and Guest Relations, ensuring exceptional guest experience, operational efficiency, and compliance with company standards while supporting revenue and service excellence goals.

Key job responsibilities:

Management of Hotel’s Front Office operations following company’s budget, directive and procedures including following:

• Daily follow up with Front Office Manager/ Front Office Supervisor regarding the procedures and the daily responsibilities (occupancy, sales, reception service, booking system, F/O operation procedures, in-put of contacts, in-put of rates and special offers, update online TO reservations).


• Daily follow up with Guest Relations Manager (departmental operation procedures, guests complain, follow guest correspondence, any other issue will come up regarding their stay)


• Daily follow-up with Executive Housekeeper (departmental operation procedures, complaints from guests, general rooms situation such as technical or other issues, any other issue will come up)


• Close cooperation with company’s Sales department to achieve the occupancy targets.


• Ensure good coordination and communication within the departments.


• Weekly occupancy reports to Head Office.


• Preparation of room allocation


• Preparation/control invoices for the accounts department.


• Any other matter related to the maximization of financial and quality results of his/her department.


• Ensure the smooth running of IMS and H&S procedures.


• Strictly follow the Emergency & Crisis team basic duties and responsibilities.


• Attend mandatory trainings as per government and company Protocols requirements.


• Any other matter related to the maximization of Financial & Quality results of the department

Requirements:

• Hotel Management Diploma


• 5 years’ experience in the Hotel Industry in luxury property, 3 years’ experience in similar positions.


• Fluent English, both written and spoken. Any other language is an advantage.


• Knowledge for implementation of the following management systems: ISO 9001;14001; 22000& 45001


• Good knowledge of the Hotel premises and facilities.


• Good knowledge in operation of Housekeeping, Reservations & Guest Relations departments.


• Sales and Marketing knowledge.


• Understands and follows budgeting as directed by the company.


• Good computer knowledge and excellent knowledge of Opera and/or Protel PMS.


• Good organizational and management skills.


• Be able to work under pressure, with time limits and long hours.


• Good PR skills

• Good negotiating and selling skills.


• Be able to incite and lead the staff.
