APHI MIRA (ex Miramare) located in Ixia, Rhodes currently seeks the position of the Payroll officer.


POSITION SUMMARY:


The Payroll Officer manages payroll processing, attendance and employee records, ensuring accurate and timely administration in compliance with company policies and labour regulations. The role also supports HR operations and responds to employees’ payroll-related enquiries.


Responsibilities:



  • Support the administration of the Digital Work Card (Ψηφιακή Κάρτα).

  • Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, job history, and performance evaluations.

  • Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave, and other HR-related documentation.

  • Facilitate communication between management and staff.

  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and legal regulations.

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

  • Help develop performance improvement plans and provide feedback to employees.

  • Handle HR-related administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, and scheduling.

  • Manage payroll calculations, including salaries, wages, bonuses, commissions, and deductions, while adhering to tax regulations and company policies.

  • Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave, and other HR-related documentation.

  • Act as the point of contact for employees’ payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly, including discrepancies, deductions, or adjustments.

  • Track working hours and attendance through relevant systems and processes.

  • Calculation of payroll from net to gross (new employees) based on the excel file and formulas sent by Payroll department.

  • Adjustment of payroll following salary increases (existing staff)

  • Contract extension after the probation period

  • Overtime declarations in ERGANI

  • Implement and maintain procedures to improve payroll efficiency and accuracy.

  • Prepare the payroll-related reports for management meetings, audits, and regulatory filings.


Requirements:



  • Diploma in Business studies or a related field.

  • Similar previous experience in a well-established payroll function, preferably in the hospitality industry will be an advantage

  • Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with staff, and management.

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Fluent in English

  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with other team members.

  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations will be an advantage
