Permits Specialist

Urban Soul Project is looking for an experienced Senior Architect or Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Thessaloniki. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a dynamic and award-winning architectural studio, working across a wide range of big scale architectural and interior design projects.

We’re seeking a professional with a deep understanding of legislation and procedures who will staff the permitting team of the company. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Urban planning compliance review and property analysis
• Curating the process related to permit requirements, data collection, processing, policies, and procedures.
• Writing technical essays for building permits and other authorities and managing applications, assisting in their submission and ensuring successful delivery
• Permit issuance process handling

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα:

Requirements

• Diploma (Master Eng.) of Architecture or Civil Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in issuing building permits of historical buildings, or other buildings with special characteristics
• Experience in permit application handling to all services involved (Council of Architecture, Ephorate of Antiquities, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge of Building Regulations (ΓΟΚ, ΝΟΚ, Law 5306/2026, Ktiriodomikos, Law 4759/2020 etc)
• Knowledge of arbitrary constructions legislation (Law 4178/2013, 4495/2017 etc)
• Excellent knowledge of 2D programs (AutoCAD), Microsoft 365
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong collaboration and teamwork capabilities
• High level of attention to detail and quality orientation
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
