About The Role

Ethniki Insurance is looking for a Motor Underwriter to join the Motor Underwriting Subdivision and contribute to the effective assessment, pricing and management of motor insurance risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and underwrite motor insurance risks in accordance with company guidelines and applicable regulations.
• Assess risk factors and determine appropriate coverage and pricing.
• Review and analyze loss histories, claims data and other relevant information to support informed underwriting decisions.
• Provide underwriting support to sales teams and motor insurance service providers.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to develop and implement strategies to attract new business and retain existing clients.
• Manage renewal underwriting process and recommend policy adjustments.
• Stay up to date with developments and best practices in the field, continuously improving delivery and supporting the development, transfer and retention of knowledge.
• Deliver ongoing training to traditional distribution networks on new products and processes.
• Prepare and manage providers’ contracts and external partners.
• Participate in projects, suggestion of terms and suggestion of underwriting rules.
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance Science, Statistics or a related field.
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent command of MS Office.
• Team-oriented mindset and strong customer service skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work effectively under strict deadlines.
• Certificate of Professional Knowledge of Insurance Broking.
• Excellent command of Greek and English (written and spoken).
• No pending military obligations (for Greek male citizens).
