The Mission

We’re looking for a Mobile Engineer (Flutter) to join our Engineering team and help us build and evolve the SHOPFLIX mobile experience.

Our mobile app brings the marketplace directly into customers’ hands, helping them discover millions of products, compare options, receive personalized recommendations, complete purchases and track their orders across iOS and Android.

This is a hands-on role for an engineer who enjoys building great products, solving meaningful technical challenges and turning ideas into simple, intuitive and reliable mobile experiences.

You’ll work closely with Product, Design, Backend and other Engineering teams, playing an important role in shaping how customers experience SHOPFLIX every day.

What You Will Do

• Build, maintain and continuously evolve the SHOPFLIX mobile application using Flutter and Dart.
• Develop high-quality, responsive and scalable experiences across iOS and Android.
• Work closely with Product, Design, Backend and other Engineering teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Build customer journeys across discovery, search, product details, personalization, checkout, payments and order tracking.
• Integrate REST APIs and backend services while thoughtfully handling loading, errors, offline scenarios and edge cases.
• Build reusable Flutter components and contribute to patterns and practices that keep the codebase scalable and maintainable.
• Improve application performance, responsiveness, stability and overall user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable and production-ready code.
• Contribute to automated testing across unit, widget and integration levels.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
• Investigate production issues, troubleshoot bugs and help continuously improve application reliability.
• Contribute to CI/CD and mobile release processes across the App Store and Google Play.
• Work with analytics and product metrics to understand customer behaviour and use data to improve the mobile experience.
• Stay curious about new technologies and approaches, identifying opportunities to make our products and engineering practices better.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 2+ years of professional experience building and maintaining mobile applications.
• Strong professional experience with Flutter and Dart.
• Solid understanding of mobile application architecture and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and working with asynchronous operations.
• Good understanding of state management patterns in Flutter.
• Experience writing unit, widget and/or integration tests.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Understanding of iOS and Android platform fundamentals.
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex problems into practical solutions.
• A strong sense of ownership, accountability and attention to detail.
• A pragmatic mindset — you care about quality, but also understand the importance of delivering value.
• A genuine interest in building simple, fast and intuitive customer experiences.

Experience With Some Of The Following

• Riverpod, BLoC, Provider or similar Flutter state-management solutions.
• Clean Architecture, MVVM or other scalable application architecture patterns.
• Firebase services, Crashlytics, Analytics or Remote Config.
• Push notifications and deep linking.
• App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
• Mobile CI/CD using Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Codemagic or similar tools.
• Native iOS development with Swift or Android development with Kotlin.
• E-commerce, marketplace, payments, personalization, search or recommendation products.
• Performance monitoring and mobile observability.
