Experienced professional in the DMC and luxury incoming travel industry

Are you an experienced DMC professional, ready to take the next step in your career and lead a new luxury travel project in Greece from the ground up?

A new luxury Destination Management project in Greece is seeking a highly experienced, commercially driven professional to take responsibility for its development, launch and day-to-day operation.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can build the business, generate clients and run the operation.

Candidates should have:

• Minimum 5 years of solid experience within a DMC / incoming tourism company in Greece, preferably within the luxury segment
• Proven experience in business development and generating new B2B business
• An established network of international travel advisors, tour operators, agencies or luxury travel partners
• Strong existing knowledge of the Greek supplier network, including hotels, villas, transportation, yachts, guides and experiences
• Proven ability to design, price and operate complete tailor-made itineraries throughout Greece
• Strong commercial understanding, including supplier negotiations, contracting, margins and pricing
• Hands-on operational experience managing enquiries, quotations, bookings and complex guest arrangements
• Ability to establish operational procedures, supplier standards and workflows from scratch
• Excellent written and spoken English and Greek
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work independently, take decisions and assume full ownership and accountability for the project
• Previous experience in a senior DMC, Product, Operations, Sales or Business Development position will be considered essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• BUILD the DMC structure and product portfolio.
• SELL Greece to international B2B partners and develop new accounts.
• OPERATE the business and ensure the highest level of service delivery.
• GROW the operation and progressively build the team around it.
