Management Trainee Finance
The Role
In a fast-paced and dynamic environment, the Finance Management Trainee role offers an intensive, hands-on immersion into the core of our finance operations.
You won't just learn the numbers- you will develop a strategic mindset, gain cross-functional exposure, and build the analytical foundation needed to fast-track your career within L'Oréal's finance organization
Reporting to the division's Finance Director, you will gain deep exposure to month-end closing processes, financial budgeting, trend monitoring as well as strong understanding of our business
What You Will Do
Execute & Report Financial Results: Execute, report, and follow up on budgets, financial trends, and actual financial results in line with Group standards, guidelines, and deadlines.
Drive Data Quality & Controls: Ensure high data quality and strong controls within your area of responsibility by effectively leveraging financial systems (SAP, BOOST, COMPASS).
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with marketing and commercial teams by analyzing division channels and customer financial performance against targets/budgets or forecasts, proposing actions to maintain budgetary objectives.
Support Financial Transformation: Contribute actively to the transformation of the Finance function to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and drive financial performance that results in value creation for the organization.
Qualifications / Experience
Ideally an academic background in Finance or Economics.
Well-developed computer skills, with an agility in finance reporting tools (MS Office, SAP etc) will be considered a strong plus.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to perfect execution focused on problem-solving.
Excellent ability to collaborate with commercial stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on teamwork.
Fluency in professional English is required.
