Manufacturing Line Team Lead

About the Role

A growing manufacturing organization operating in a fast-paced production environment is seeking a Manufacturing Line Team Lead to oversee daily operations across one or more production lines.

The role is focused on ensuring smooth line execution, maintaining high performance standards, and leading frontline teams to deliver safety, quality, and productivity targets.

This position plays a key role in translating production plans into effective on-the-floor execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of assigned manufacturing line(s) ensuring continuous and stable production flow.


• Coordinate operators and support staff to achieve shift targets in safety, quality, output and efficiency.


• Monitor line performance and proactively address deviations or bottlenecks.


• Ensure adherence to operational standards, quality requirements and safety procedures.


• Act as first point of escalation for line-related issues and coordinate timely resolution.


• Support setup, changeovers and stabilization of production equipment and processes.


• Track and analyze key line KPIs (output, downtime, waste, yield) and drive improvements.


• Collaborate closely with Quality, Maintenance and Planning teams to ensure alignment of production priorities.


• Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.


• Train, coach and develop line operators to enhance capability and consistency.


• Ensure accurate and timely shift handover communication.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Engineering, Science or a related technical field (preferred but not mandatory depending on experience).


• Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment with direct line responsibility.

• Availability to work rotating 24-hour shifts.


• Experience in regulated or high-volume production environments will be considered an advantage.


• Strong understanding of production line flow, bottlenecks and operational KPIs.


• Leadership experience with frontline teams.


• Good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office tools.


• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.


• Ability to work in a dynamic
