Location: Prefecture of Ileia | Full-Time
Are you a seasoned Site Engineer with experience in the renewable energy sector? Join our growing team in the Prefecture of Ileia, where you will play a key role in overseeing the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our renewable energy assets. Working closely with the Asset Manager and O&M contractors, you will be responsible for ensuring high standards of technical performance, HSE compliance, and operational excellence across the site.
Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
· Closely collaborate with the Asset Manager ensuring that they are always fully informed of the onsite conditions and activities.
· Maintain oversight of all site activities performed by O&M contractors ensuring contractual compliance.
· Ensure HSE contractual and legal requirements are adhered to on site. Report any non-compliances, support incident root cause analysis, oversee agreed measures. Work closely with the HSE Manager and drive a HSE culture on site.
· Perform daily site visits and update the operational diary of the assets.
· Review of Operation & Maintenance Contracts obligations (schedule of maintenance, HSE standards etc.).
· Ensure O&M contractors compliance with quality O&M standards and the use of proper O&M techniques.
· Coordinate works by O&M contractors and utility operators.
· Perform access control, inspect tools, materials and equipment.
· Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
· Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
· Monitor the performance of the assets via monitoring platforms.
· Report any under performance of the assets, site conditions and incidents to the Asset Manager.
· Keep records and monitor spare parts inventory.
· Maintain asset performance logs and files.
· Support during the handover phase of new assets from Construction to the Asset Management department.
· Act as a first point of contact for local community queries, informing Asset Manager of any communication or interest in the activities of the assets on behalf of the local community, authorities and organisations.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the renewable energy sector (PV, HV/MV Substations, MV grids).
· Clear understanding of technical operations and control of Renewable Energy assets.
· Excellent use of Monitoring systems (PowerFactors, Fusion Solar etc).
· Based in the prefecture of Ileia.
· AutoCad knowledge.
· Excellent use of Greek and English language.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams etc.).
· Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills.
· Ability to communicate and report clearly and effectively with good presentation skills.
· Ability to work in team environment.
