Bunkering Coordinator

KYKLADES MARITIME CORPORATION seeks to employ a full-time Bunkering Coordinator, who will be responsible to manage the day-to-day execution of the company's end-to-end bunkering workflow.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Negotiate bunker offers and manage the full RFQ process
• Maintain a bunkers plan ensuring the fleet’s needs are forecasted and managed
• Manager the relationships with bunker suppliers and conduct formal assessments of performance
• Monitor, investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Process bunker invoices and reconcile them flagging and resolving discrepancies
• Coordinate with accounts payable to ensure timely payments
• Maintain the Bunkering Database and ensure full document traceability and audit readiness
• Produce monthly and quarterly bunker consumption reports providing management with accurate data
• Track and report price variances
• Compile bunker price trend reports
• Assist Operations Department with ad hoc data extraction, analysis and preparation for internal meetings
• Support the administration and monitoring of company’s EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime obligations
• Prepare requisitions, process payments and follow up on EU Allowances and FuelEU Maritime credits
  
  

Requirements

Eligible candidates should meet the following requirements:

• University Degree
• 3 years of experience in procurement, or a bunkering role, or in an operations department, within a shipping or ship management company
• Advanced Excel
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
  
  

Preferably

• Demonstrated experience in commercial negotiations
• Working knowledge of EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime
