Junior GL & Tax Accountant

Scope:

We are looking for a motivated Junior GL & Tax Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will manage daily financial transactions, post journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, and support month-end closing activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate variances.


• Monitor and analyze debit balances of suppliers and credit balances of customers.


• Prepare and submit private agreements and related filings to the Greek tax authority (AADE).


• Prepare and submit INTRASTAT and VIES reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.


• Participate in the monthly financial closing process (month-end close).

Job Requirements:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar qualification.


• At least 1 year of experience in finance or accounting.


• Strong knowledge of Excel.


• Strong teamwork and communication skills.


• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.


• Solid experience in double-entry bookkeeping in accordance with Category C accounting standards will be considered an asset.
