Field Installation Engineer

Intellectica is recruiting a Field Installation Engineer on behalf of its client, a growing engineering company specializing in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of technology solutions for the renewable energy sector. Based in Gerakas, Attica, the company supports wind energy projects across Greece and abroad. Reporting directly to the COO, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, coordinating and executing installation projects at wind turbine sites, while leading a small field team. The role combines office-based project preparation with hands-on site work and requires regular travel. Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Taking overall responsibility for the preparation, coordination and execution of wind turbine installation projects, from project planning through to successful completion on site
• Planning and preparing projects before mobilization, ensuring all required equipment, tools, materials and technical documentation are available and ready for deployment
• Coordinating with internal departments to ensure the timely procurement, preparation and delivery of project equipment and materials
• Leading and managing a small field team (typically 2-4 technicians), ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently and according to project requirements
• Coordinating and actively participating in the installation and commissioning of equipment at wind turbine sites
• Acting as the main point of contact between the company, client representatives and site engineering teams throughout project execution
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and site-specific procedures at all times
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues arising during installation and commissioning activities
• Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates and reports to the COO
• Preparing technical reports, site documentation and project completion records
• Any other task that may be required from time to time

Professional experience & qualifications of a successful candidate:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
• Minimum 2 years of experience in field engineering, installations, commissioning or similar technical projects
• Experience leading or coordinating technicians or small field teams is considered an advantage
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures in field environments
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly in Excel
• Fluency in both Greek and English
• Valid driving licence
• Availability and willingness to travel regularly in Greece and abroad is a mandatory requirement
