Student Success Manager – DMA Academy

Location: Greece
Work Type: Fully Remote
Hours: 4 hours per day
Working Hours: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM Greece time
Australian Hours: Approximately 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM Melbourne/Sydney time
English Requirement: Excellent / near-native written and spoken English

DMA Academy is looking for a Student Success Manager based in Greece to join our team and help make sure our students have an outstanding experience from the moment they join.

This is not a sales role.

Your job is to support our students, keep them happy and engaged, answer their questions, and make sure they always feel like there is someone available to help them throughout their journey with DMA Academy.

About DMA Academy

DMA Academy is an online digital marketing education and mentorship program operated by Digital Marketers Australia.

We help students develop practical digital marketing skills through online training, live coaching, mentorship and ongoing support, with the goal of helping them create new career and income opportunities.

About the Role

This is a highly people-focused position.

You will work directly with new and existing students through:

  • Video and phone calls

  • Email

  • Live chat

  • Online community communication

  • Regular student check-ins

A big part of your role is making sure our students feel supported, heard and looked after.

We want every student to feel like they have someone they can reach out to when they have a question, need help, aren't sure what to do next, or simply need some extra encouragement.

You will also help identify students who may be falling behind and proactively reach out to help get them back on track.

Working Hours

This is a 4-hour-per-day remote position.

Your normal working hours will be:

7:30 AM – 11:30 AM Greece time

This is approximately:

2:30 PM – 6:30 PM Melbourne/Sydney time

These hours are important because they allow you to be online during the Australian afternoon and communicate directly with our students and team.

Please only apply if you are comfortable consistently working these morning hours in Greece.

The exact Australia/Greece time difference can shift slightly during the year due to daylight saving time.

Remote Work Requirements

Because this is a fully remote, student-facing role, it is very important that you have a professional working environment.

You must have:

  • A stable and reliable internet connection

  • A quiet place to work

  • An environment where you can comfortably take phone and video calls

  • Minimal background noise and distractions during working hours

  • A reliable computer and headset or microphone

  • The ability to stay focused and available during your scheduled 4-hour shift

You should also be comfortable using common online technologies such as:

  • Zoom

  • Email platforms

  • Google Docs and online documents

  • Live chat systems

  • Online calendars and scheduling tools

  • Video calling and messaging platforms

Experience using CRM systems is helpful, but not required.

We will provide training on the CRM and internal systems we use, so you do not need previous experience with our specific software.

What matters most is that you are comfortable learning and using online tools.

Your Responsibilities

  • Welcome and onboard new DMA Academy students

  • Make sure new students understand how the program works and what they should do first

  • Conduct regular student check-ins

  • Respond to students through live chat and email

  • Speak with students through video and phone calls when required

  • Answer questions and help students find the right resources

  • Monitor student progress and engagement

  • Proactively contact students who may be falling behind

  • Encourage students to participate in coaching sessions and complete their training

  • Help students stay accountable to their goals

  • Make students feel supported and comfortable asking for help

  • Identify issues or concerns and communicate them to the wider DMA Academy team

  • Collect student feedback

  • Help us continuously improve the student experience

Who We're Looking For

You should be:

  • Excellent at speaking and writing in English

  • Comfortable having natural conversations with Australian students

  • Friendly, warm and approachable

  • Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people

  • Confident speaking on Zoom, video calls and phone calls

  • Organised and reliable

  • Proactive with communication and follow-up

  • Patient and good at explaining things clearly

  • Comfortable working independently

  • Comfortable learning and using online software

  • Able to work from a professional, quiet environment

  • Able to make students feel comfortable, supported and looked after

Previous experience in customer success, customer support, student support, account management, education, hospitality, recruitment or coaching would be highly regarded.

Digital marketing experience is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided.

This Is NOT a Sales Position

You will not be responsible for selling DMA Academy.

The focus of this position is support, communication and student success after someone has joined the program.

We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships with people and takes pride in providing a great customer experience.

How to Apply

Please submit:

  • Your CV/resume

  • A short written introduction about yourself

  • Your current location in Greece

  • Details about any previous customer, client or student-facing experience

  • A brief explanation of why you think you'd be suited to this role

  • A 60-second introduction video

60-Second Introduction Video

As communication is such an important part of this role, all applicants must include a short 60-second video introducing themselves.

There is no need for professional equipment, editing or a formal presentation.

You can simply film it on your phone, laptop or webcam.

Tell us:

  • Who you are

  • Where in Greece you're based

  • A little about your previous experience

  • Why you think you'd be a good fit for a Student Success role

We're not assessing your video production skills. We simply want to get a feel for your personality, communication style and English proficiency.

Applications without an introduction video will not be considered.
