As our National Customs Operations Manager based at any of our locations in Belgium you will play a key strategic role in shaping and harmonizing customs operations within the country. You will drive operational excellence, lead automation and improvement initiatives, and act as a bridge between customers, internal stakeholders, and technology teams. The Global Sea Logistics Yield & Allocation Specialist is responsible for supporting the Global Sea Logistics Yield & Allocation Team by executing tasks related to Global Trade activities. The role includes managing carrier agreements, coordinating billing processes, maintaining reporting activities, and supporting operational procedures to ensure efficient and accurate execution of business requirements.

The position is also responsible for supporting Forwarding Sub-Ledger (FSL) activities in ACON, ensuring accurate financial reporting and reconciliation. In addition, the specialist works closely with Trade Managers, country organizations, and carriers, facilitating effective communication, providing process guidance, and supporting the resolution of operational and billing-related matters.

What We Would Like You To Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
• Experience in Sea Logistics, Trade Management, Finance Operations, or a related field.
• Familiarity with ACON and BI (reporting tool).
• Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work with large and complex data sets.

• Manage and administer monthly, quarterly, and annual carrier agreements, including communication, reconciliation, and billing preparation.
• Provide ongoing support to Global Trade teams
• Coordinate and support billing and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and regularly update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring alignment with current operational practices and business requirements.
• Maintain, enhance, and distribute internal reports to support operational and financial decision-making.
• Perform and support financial activities in ACON, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Monitor and validate financial and operational data to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
