On behalf of an exclusive hospitality group, we are seeking an experienced, visionary, and financially rigorous General Manager for a unique, ultra-luxury boutique resort featuring 17 standalone architectural villas/suites with private pools. The property is renowned for its high-end, holistic wellness positioning and a deeply customized, empathetic guest experience designed to make international travelers feel "at home."

Role Mission

The successful candidate will bridge two worlds: embodying the resort's philosophy of sophisticated, warm hospitality while enforcing strict corporate operational and financial controls. As a confidential search, the incoming GM will take full ownership of the upcoming 2027 season, focusing on operational optimization, transition to outsourced services, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership & Guest Experience: Personally oversee the daily operations, ensuring the resort's premium, bespoke hospitality standards are consistently delivered. Maintain a strong, visible presence to guarantee an "at-home" feeling for all guests.


• Financial Management & Cost Optimization: Full P&L responsibility. Implement rigorous cost-control measures across all departments, with a heavy focus on Food & Beverage (high-end à la carte breakfast) and linen/laundry operations.


• Smart Staffing & Local Sourcing: Optimize the human resources budget by actively recruiting and deploying local island residents for seasonal operational roles. This strategy is critical to maximizing service efficiency while significantly reducing the resort's dependency and expenditure on staff housing assets.


• Team Restructuring: Supervise the transition toward an efficient, scalable operational model, leveraging local talent and outsourced facility management/cleaning teams.


• Revenue & Sales Management: Manage the property's PMS, Channel Manager, and OTA relationships. Drive occupancy from the current 55% toward 70% while consolidating the premium Average Daily Rate (ADR).


• Pre & Post Season Management: Coordinate the physical reopening/setup of the property in early spring and the winterization/reporting processes in late autumn.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as a General Manager or Resort Manager in high-end 5-star boutique hotels, wellness retreats, or luxury private villa complexes in Greece or the Mediterranean.


• Financial Acumen: Strong background in hospitality accounting, budget formulation, and cost management. Experienced in turning around operational inefficiencies.


• Resourcefulness: Proven ability to source, train, and manage local workforce talent on Greek islands, balancing luxury service standards with lean infrastructure costs.


• Mindset: An empathetic leader with high emotional intelligence who understands "quiet luxury" and personalized guest relations.


• Languages: Native or fluent Greek and fluent English. Knowledge of Italian is considered a strong asset.

What We Offer

• A competitive salary of € 3,500 per month for an 8-month period.


• Performance-related annual bonus based on Gross Operating Profit (GOP) targets.
