Role overview

Sani/Ikos Group is seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to join our team at Ikos Aria. Reporting to the HR Operations Senior Manager, you will play a key role in the smooth running of day-to-day HR administration, ensuring our people processes are efficient, accurate and compliant.

This position focuses on the delivery and continuous improvement of core HR operations, including employee administration, data integrity, payroll support and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with colleagues across Human Resources and wider business functions to help create a well-organised, responsive and trusted HR service.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate the delivery of HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, personnel documentation and payroll data input.
  • Ensure employee information is entered accurately and on time within HR systems, maintaining high standards of data quality and record keeping.
  • Support the development, review and implementation of HR policies, procedures and compliance frameworks in line with company standards and labour legislation.
  • Monitor adherence to labour law, social security requirements, health and safety obligations and internal policies, escalating risks where needed.
  • Maintain organised employee files, documentation and system records to support efficient administration and audit readiness.
  • Manage employee relations matters with discretion and professionalism, supporting issue resolution, conducting exit interviews and escalating cases appropriately.
  • Prepare HR reports, compliance updates, metrics and dashboards for senior management.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external auditors, as well as relevant authorities, on HR compliance matters.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to support compliance training and employee awareness initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on workplace accidents and absenteeism trends, ensuring appropriate follow-up and record management.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of HR operations, processes and service delivery.

Required qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labour Law, Business Administration or a related field; a Master’s degree in HR Management, Labour Relations or Compliance is highly desirable.
  • At least 4 years’ experience in HR operations, with strong exposure to employee relations, compliance, reporting, HR SOPs and internal HR audits.
  • Experience in regulated environments such as hospitality, healthcare or manufacturing is highly valued.
  • Proven involvement in audits, labour inspections and dealings with regulatory authorities is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of labour law, social security regulations and local compliance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in HRMS systems, ideally Pylon, and excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages would be considered an asset.

Desired skills and competencies

  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in documentation and compliance tracking.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and present clear insights.
  • Professional judgement, discretion and a solution-focused approach when handling sensitive matters.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive mindset and genuine interest in improving processes and employee experience.
