a Security Architecture Senior Manager

The Information Security Senior Architect designs and develops security systems that embed security by design into both existing and new technologies. The role defines security requirements for each solution in line with security policies, industry best practices, and standards, ensuring they are fully integrated across enterprise architecture. This includes reference models, segment and solution architectures, and the systems that support the organization’s mission and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding IT & OT systems’ architecture and business growth needs and determine impacts and risks to the security architecture, incl. identification of any security issues and risks.
• Identify and prioritize critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders.
• Document and address organization's information security, cybersecurity architecture, and systems security engineering requirements throughout the acquisition life cycle.
• Establish and maintain security architecture baselines and development strategies for existing and new IT & OT solutions:
• Create solutions that balance business with information and cyber security requirements.
• Develop security integration plans to protect existing IT/OT infrastructure and to incorporate future solutions.
• Research and identify new technologies to improve system/data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Ensure that acquired or developed system(s) and architecture(s) are consistent with organization's cybersecurity architecture guidelines:
• Determine the protection needs (i.e., security controls) for the information system(s) and network(s) and document appropriately.
• Evaluate security architecture and designs to determine the adequacy of security design and architecture proposed or provided in response to requirements contained in acquisition documents.
• Define and document how the implementation of a new system or new interfaces between systems impacts the security posture of the current environment.
• Employ secure configuration management processes.
• Perform security reviews and audits, identify gaps in existing configuration and supervise mitigation actions and workarounds.
• Research and identify new technologies to improve system/data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Analyze technical risks and advise on risk mitigation strategies providing cost effective technology recommendations to support the security system’s growth, maintain stability and provide a good user experience.
• Serve as an internal senior trusted advisor providing security consulting services across multiple teams, incl. IT leaders, to provide advice on security and assistance with compensating control alternatives where security requirements cannot be met.
  

Qualifications

• BSc in Information Security or equivalent.
• Min 8 years in Information Security industry focused on designing effective technical security solutions and controls.
• Strong background in OT/IT/Application/Cloud Cyber security, and experience working in the industrial sector.
• Information Security Industry certifications (Technical Security Certification such as GICSP/GCPN/CEH/CCSP).
• Good team player, self-confident, motivated, and independent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Analytical & time management skills.
• Fluency in English.
