About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Food Technologist – Export Sales to join our Exports team and contribute to the further development of our international markets.

Reporting to the Export Manager, you will combine your technical knowledge of food products and ingredients with a strong commercial mindset, supporting customer development, identifying new business opportunities and building long-term relationships with international partners.

The role ideally can be based either in Athens or Thessaloniki and involves frequent international travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop sales opportunities across existing and new international markets.


• Understand technological customer needs and bridge those needs to Research & Development Department


• Collaborate closely with Research & Development department for product test on customers


• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors and business partners.


• Present the company's product portfolio and support commercial discussions and negotiations.


• Monitor market developments, competition and new business opportunities.


• Represent Loulis Food Ingredients in customer meetings, exhibitions and international industry events.


• Travel regularly to international markets, approximately 50% of working time.

Candidate Profile

What We Are Looking For

• Degree in Food Technology, Food Science or a related field.


• At least 10 years of professional experience within the food industry.


• Good understanding of food products, ingredients and their applications.


• Strong commercial orientation and genuine interest in sales and business development.


• Ability to communicate confidently and build trusted relationships with customers and business partners.


• Good working knowledge of English, sufficient for effective communication in an international business environment.


• Availability for frequent international travel.


• Strong communication, problem-solving and relationship-building skills.


• Professional maturity and sound judgement.


• Very good or fluent command of English.

Additional Advantages

• Experience in the bakery, flour, bakery ingredients or pastry ingredients sector.


• Previous experience in B2B sales, export sales, technical sales or business development.


• Experience working with international customers, distributors or partners.


• Knowledge of an additional foreign language.
