Who we are

Stackdrop is a systems-driven software agency based in AΘens. We build the operational infrastructure companies run on: internal tools, ops cockpits, data pipelines, automations, and the AI agents that increasingly sit inside them. Our clients don't hire us for websites or campaigns. They hire us to redesign how their business actually works, and then to keep it running.

We're a Retool Certified Partner and an Anthropic Claude Partner. Twenty people across Athens, Cairo, and Tunisia. A couple of products we built ourselves and now sell (Meetso, Bringboard), plus the internal operating systems that run the company.

The role

This is not a first-marketer role. We're looking for a marketing lead who treats the go-to-market as a system to be engineered, and who can hold the pen on positioning. You'll own narrative, content, partner channels, proof, and the numbers that tell us whether any of it is working.

Small team, real budget, no one to delegate to. If "one marketer plus a stack of agents beats a five-person team" is a thesis you've already tested on yourself, keep reading.

What you'll actually do

  • Own the narrative. We sell to risk-averse buyers: founders, heads of ops, heads of engineering at companies where a broken internal tool is a broken business. Sharpen the positioning for them, keep it honest, and defend it against every "what if this goes wrong" a champion has to answer upstairs. Continuous customer research, win/loss, and a sharp view of who else is in the room.

  • Make the Discovery Sprint the front door. It's our lowest-commitment offer and the start of every serious engagement. You own the page, the argument, and the path from "curious" to "booked."

  • Run content like a system. Long-form, LinkedIn, newsletter, glossary, Reddit, case studies. Aimed at being cited by LLMs and answer engines first, ranked on Google second. You'll operate and improve the agent pipeline that already exists, and put quality gates where slop gets in.

  • Turn delivery into proof. We ship production systems every week and publish almost none of it. Case studies, teardowns, demo content, a public customer story per quarter. The raw material is there; the system around it is yours.

  • Work the partner channels. Retool and Anthropic are our two lead engines. Co-marketing, partner listings, joint stories, ecosystem events. Very few EMEA partners are credible on both the app layer and the model layer. Say it until people repeat it back.

  • Run small paid and experimental bets. LinkedIn, newsletter sponsorships, podcasts, communities. Small budget, fast reads, kill what doesn't work. This is a lane, not the job.

  • Treat the website as a product. Ship, measure, iterate. You'll work directly in Framer and brief design when you need more than you can do yourself.

  • Instrument everything. Pipeline, source, CAC, content and channel ROI. Build the dashboards yourself in Retool, run a monthly growth review on what we learned, what we're killing, and what we're doubling down on.

  • Keep the AI layer sharp. Maintain the shared library of prompts, skills and workflows the team reuses. When you hit the edge of what off-the-shelf tools do, we build the missing piece with you.

Who you are

  • A generalist with a spike. Deep in content or positioning, competent across the rest. The spike matters more than the breadth.

  • AI-native, not AI-curious. Claude, GPT, agent frameworks, memory, evals. You've built workflows that run without you, and you know where they break.

  • You can write. Flat, clear, with a point of view. Our voice is laconic and dry. If your default register is LinkedIn mush, this will hurt.

  • You think in systems and funnels, not campaigns.

  • Technically fluent. You read docs and APIs, can scope "can we automate this" without an engineer, and are dangerous enough in SQL, Retool or n8n to prototype it yourself.

  • You have taste. You can brief design, judge output, and ship clean work without a full-time designer.

  • An operator. You've built something from zero: a newsletter, a function, a community, a side project. You know what it feels like when it isn't working.

  • Allergic to vanity metrics. Pipeline, closed revenue, payback. Impressions are a means.

  • Low-ego, high-ownership. No one is going to hand you a brief. Including the CEO, who has been writing the copy himself and would like to stop.

  • Async by default. Clear docs, visible work, a trail others can follow.

Bonus points

  • You've marketed a dev agency, studio, consultancy, or productized service.

  • You've sold into technical buyers: engineering, ops, RevOps, IT.

  • You've done partner or ecosystem marketing (Retool, Anthropic, AWS, Databricks, or similar).

  • You've shipped an AI agent or automation that's still running in production somewhere.

  • You've built or contributed to an open-source project, community, or newsletter with a real audience.

What this role is not

  • Not a content marketer who only writes blog posts

  • Not a demand-gen manager who lives in HubSpot reports

  • Not a brand marketer who needs a team of five to execute

  • Not a strategist who hands the founder a deck and waits

  • Not a people-manager role in year one

Why this role is different

  • The machine already exists. You spend month one improving it, not building it

  • Real budget for tools, experiments and agents, and the autonomy to spend it

  • A team that builds what you want to automate. When the tool doesn't exist, we make it

  • Two partner ecosystems that want to co-market with us. The channels are open; nobody is fully working them

  • Marketing as a product. Ship, measure, iterate, and a monthly review where the numbers are the agenda

  • Clear path to Head of Growth as Stackdrop scales
