Purchasing & Logistics Specialist

Job Description:

• Monitor and execute all activities related to procurement of the materials that are necessary to cover current and future needs


• Daily analyze stock levels and issue purchase orders to suppliers


• Track orders to ensure timely delivery


• Follow up with suppliers regarding availability, backorders and/or pricing issues


• Update system database with new codes and prices


• Liaise with logistics company to ensure products arrive in perfect condition


• Monitor short self-life stock


• Handle product returns to suppliers


• Provide purchase & sales reports

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain / Logistics, or relevant field


• 3-5 years of relevant experience


• Fluency in English (written and oral)


• Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel)


• ERP Soft1 knowledge will be considered an asset


• Excellent communication skills


• Ability to perform well under pressure and tight deadlines
