ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of its client, a leading company in the hospitality and resort sector in Halkidiki, with a long-standing presence and strong commitment to quality, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the following position:

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join the Finance Department of a large-scale resort in Halkidiki.


Reporting to the Finance Director, the position will be responsible for supporting the overall financial control and performance management of the resort and its diverse business activities. The role will have a strong focus on financial controlling, business partnering, profitability analysis, budgeting and forecasting, while maintaining robust financial processes and controls.


Given the scale and complexity of the operation, the Financial Controller will work closely with the Finance team and key operational stakeholders across the resort, providing reliable and timely financial information, analysing revenues and costs, monitoring business performance and translating financial data into meaningful insights to support management decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and strengthen financial processes and controls, ensuring accurate and reliable financial and management information across the resort.
  • Provide financial analysis and business insights on revenues, costs, profitability and overall business performance to support management decision-making.
  • Act as a financial business partner to operational and commercial departments, supporting performance improvement and informed business decisions.
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, monitoring performance against budget and forecast and providing variance analysis.
  • Monitor the resort’s revenue streams and cost centers, with particular focus on the hotel operation, identifying cost and profitability improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare and enhance management reporting and performance analysis, ensuring timely, accurate and meaningful financial information.
  • Support CAPEX evaluation, business cases, cash flow and working capital management, contributing to effective financial planning and risk management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, controls and overall efficiency, while supporting accounting, tax, VAT, regulatory compliance and external audit activities.


Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; ACCA/CPA qualification will be considered an advantage.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Financial Controlling, Finance Management and/or Accounting, with solid experience in Hospitality.
  • Proven experience in a large-scale hotel or resort operation, ideally within a complex, multi-revenue environment.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost control, variance and profitability analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a business partner to senior management and operational teams, translating financial data into actionable insights.
  • Strong MS Excel skills and experience with ERP and financial reporting systems; familiarity with hotel PMS is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English.
  • Strong analytical, commercial and business-oriented mindset, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
