Airport Supervisor

About the role:

We are looking for an Airport Supervisor to join our Ground Operations team at Athens International Airport. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing daily airport operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, compliance, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily airport and ground handling operations.
• Monitor aircraft turnaround activities to ensure on-time performance and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with Ground Handling Agents and other service providers to ensure smooth airport operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, aviation regulations, and safety requirements.
• Liaise with airport authorities, operational departments, and external stakeholders.
• Manage operational disruptions and support the resolution of irregular operations.
• Conduct operational inspections and monitor service quality standards.
• Support incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
• Participate in emergency response procedures when required.
• Prepare operational reports and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in airport, airline, or ground handling operations.
• Good understanding of airport operations and ground handling procedures.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations and operational safety standards.
• Availability to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Proficient in IT (MS Office suite).
• Fluency in Greek and English (verbal and written).
