Software Tester / QA Engineer – Manual & Automation Testing

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester / QA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through both manual and automated testing.

The role involves working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, validate requirements, improve test coverage, and support the delivery of high-quality software releases.

Your day to day will involve catching up and testing new features, as well as regression testing for products for thousands of users. We offer a fast-paced environment where testers work independently but closely with developers, and own quality in an end-to-end fashion.

Key Responsibilities

• Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify testing needs.


• Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios.


• Perform manual functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.


• Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting information.


• Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing.


• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.


• Identify suitable test cases for automation and continuously improve automation coverage.


• Analyze automated test results and investigate failures.


• Perform API testing and validate system integrations.


• Collaborate closely with developers and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.


• Support release testing and provide feedback on software quality and release readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a software testing / quality assurance


• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies and QA processes.


• Solid programming/scripting skills, sufficient to build and maintain automated test suites.


• Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.


• Experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar.


• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.


• Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira.


• Familiarity with Git or another version control system.


• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).


• Familiarity with SQL for data validation.


• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.


• Good written and verbal communication skills.
