Senior Accountant - Premier Capital Hellas

Your role

• Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes.

• Prepare and review accounting entries, accruals and account reconciliations.

• Perform regular balance-sheet reconciliations and investigate outstanding or unusual balances.

• Ensure the accurate and timely recording of supplier invoices, expenses, payments and other financial transactions.

• Participate in the preparation of the annual Corporate Income Tax return, including the compilation and reconciliation of supporting financial information.

• Support the preparation and maintenance of the company’s Transfer Pricing documentation, working with internal stakeholders and external tax advisors to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.

• Monitor and support the company’s myDATA compliance, including the timely and accurate transmission, classification and reconciliation of accounting data, as well as the investigation

and resolution of discrepancies.

• Maintain the fixed-asset register and ensure the accurate recording of additions, disposals, transfers and depreciation.

• Assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements and supporting schedules.

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks and public authorities.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.

• Professional qualification or postgraduate degree is considered an asset.

• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience, ideally in multinational, retail, hospitality or food-service environments, Big 4 experience is a plus.

• Excellent command of the Greek and English language.

• Strong knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards, IFRS and Greek tax legislation.

• Solid understanding of financial closing, reconciliations and statutory reporting.

• Experience in tax and statutory declarations.

• Previous experience with ERP and accounting systems.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• A collaborative mindset, strong attention to detail, and a drive for continuous improvement.
