Senior Frontend Engineer

The Role

SCYTALYS is currently looking for a skilled Senior Frontend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications for mission-critical systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for building scalable and high-performance user interfaces, driving front-end architecture decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and intuitive solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React
• Build reusable and scalable components to support long-term maintainability
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, accessible user interfaces
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and back-end services
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and user experience across browsers and devices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices, code quality, and maintainability
• Design and evolve scalable front-end architectures, component libraries, and shared frameworks
• Define testing strategies and contribute to automated testing standards and coverage goals
• Mentor team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices

• Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in Front-End Development
• BSc degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• Strong expertise in React and its ecosystem
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query
• Experience designing scalable and maintainable front-end architectures
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and client-side integrations
• Experience with performance optimization, secure coding practices, and front-end design patterns
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, code reviews, and modern development practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency in English
