Trainee AutoMET Pipe Surveyor

Irwin Group is recruiting a Trainee AutoMET Pipe Surveyor for Irwin Marine Services Hellas. This practical role supports precision pipe surveys across Europe and, when required, worldwide.

TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT

You will receive a separate allowance during a paid three-month training programme in Shenzhen, China. Direct employment follows successful completion of training.

THE WORK

Develop the measurement and dimensional-survey skills needed for demanding technical sites. Work from home in Athens between assignments and mobilise to vessels and other sites. Frequent air travel and schedules that can change at short notice are part of the role. Site work can include engine rooms, mines, work at height and confined spaces, using proper safety systems.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Live in Athens and have the right to work in Greece and the EU.

• Communicate in Greek and English.

• Have basic technical or workshop experience.

• Be confident with tape measures, calipers and micrometers.

• Have the ability or aptitude to read basic isometric drawings.

• Hold a driving licence before training.

• Have a passport, or be able to obtain one promptly.

• Be ready for frequent travel and the practical demands of climbing and crawling at work sites.

Formal higher education is not the deciding factor. We value honesty, clear communication, reliability, practical judgment, careful measurement and the ability to learn quickly. Pipe fitting, dimensional-control or marine technical experience is useful.
