We are currently looking to recruit professionals to fill the position of Technician Production & Packaging , to be based in Alimos, Greece.


Role Description


The position holder will report to the Production and Packaging Maintenance Support Engineer, ensuring the smooth operation of pharmaceutical production and packaging equipment, the implementation of the preventive maintenance plan, and the troubleshooting and repair of equipment faults, while always complying with the plant’s GMP, Health and Safety rules.


Main responsibilities:



  • Monitors and ensures the proper operation of the mechanical equipment in the Production and Packaging areas of the Injectable Products plant, including preparation machines and networks (pumps, heat exchangers, CIP/SIP installations), sterilization autoclaves, ampoule and vial filling machines, ampoule inspection and integrity testing machines, and vial packaging machines.

  • Carries out and applies the preventive maintenance plan for the Production and Packaging machines of the plant, according to the maintenance schedule and instructions, while also completing the required maintenance forms.

  • Ensures the smooth operation and restoration of machines after a breakdown. Reviews possible actions to prevent recurrence of the fault and informs the supervisor accordingly.

  • Participates in and implements proposals for improving machine operation with the aim of ensuring and/or improving the quality of the products produced.

  • Ensures the timely completion of the required actions related to “CAPA ACTIONS” as recorded in the corresponding lists.

  • Monitors spare parts inventory levels to ensure sufficient quantities are available in the warehouse and informs the Supervisor of any necessary procurement.

  • Manages the technical manuals of the equipment.

  • Ensures the completion of corrective/preventive actions in coordination with the supervisor and the Department Director.

  • Immediately informs the supervisor of unsafe conditions related to the Health and Safety of the plant’s equipment and personnel.



Candidate Profile:



  • Degree from a Technological Educational Institute (TEI) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automation Engineering, or a degree from a related Technical School.

  • 2-5 years of experience in industry. Previous experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry will be considered an additional qualification.

  • Good knowledge of English.

  • Computer literacy.

  • Ability to identify faults and perform troubleshooting.

  • Good knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical drawings.

  • Ability to manage alternative plans for resolving problems.

  • Ability to work shifts.

  • Orientation toward the Health and Safety of personnel and facilities.
