Location: Schimatari, Greece (free company bus provided from Athens & Chalkida)


Work in Shifts: Yes


Working Hours: Monday – Friday 07:30 – 15:30 / 09:00-17:00

The Role:


Your responsibilities will include:



  1. Advanced Analytical Testing



  • Execution of complex analytical methods for final products using techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, UV-Vis, Electrophoresis etc.

  • Troubleshooting of analytical issues and optimization of methodologies to ensure data integrity.

  • Investigation of LIRs and OOS/OOE/OOT results.


2. Method Transfer and Validation



  • Drafting, coordinating, performing and reviewing Method Transfer Protocols (MTPs) and associated reports.

  • Drafting, coordinating, performing and reviewing Method of Analysis (MoAs) and associated worksheets.


3. Documentation & Technical Reporting



  • Preparation of comprehensive technical reports, deviation justifications, change control documents, and CAPAs.

  • Ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with GMP principles.


4. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)



  • Development and periodic review of SOPs for equipment operation, analytical methods, and laboratory procedures.

  • Implementation of best practices to ensure consistency and regulatory compliance.


5. Equipment consumables, Reagents and Reference Standards Management



  • Oversight of equipment consumables (e.g., chromatographic columns, cartridges, membranes), including inventory management, usage logs, performance tracking, and periodic reviews for continued suitability.

  • Maintenance of accurate registries and documentation to ensure traceability of consumables and prevent cross-contamination or misuse.

  • Full responsibility for the lifecycle management of laboratory reagents, including procurement, qualification, usage tracking, and expiry monitoring.

  • Custodianship of reference and working standards with complete traceability and documentation.


6. Training & Competency Development



  • Development and delivery of structured training programs for biotech personnel.

  • Evaluation of trainees technical competencies and maintenance of training and qualification records.


7. GMP Compliance & Quality Oversight



  • Enforcement of strict adherence to GMP, GLP, and company quality policies in all laboratory operations.

  • Coordination with Quality Assurance for audits, inspections, and quality reviews.

  • Execution of internal compliance checks and proactive risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.


The Person:



  • Bachelor Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or relevant field with post graduate studies (MSc) in Biology, Biotechnology or Biochemistry

  • At least 3 years work experience in a pharmaceutical organization

  • Time management and organizational skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Fluent in Greek & English
