Job responsibilities:

• Ensure all spa treatments, services, and guest interactions are delivered in accordance with established protocols, LQA standards, and partner brand requirements.


• Maintain the highest standards of guest service, promptly resolving guest feedback, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.


• Develop and implement strategies to maximize spa revenue through effective scheduling, retail sales, treatment promotions, and upselling initiatives.


• Monitor departmental budgets, labor costs, productivity, retail performance, and operational expenses to achieve financial targets.


• Prepare operational reports, performance analyses, and monthly statistics for management.


• Ensure all treatment rooms, reception areas, relaxation lounges, changing facilities, and wellness areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and functionality.


• Manage spa inventory, retail products, linen, equipment, and operating supplies, ensuring accurate stock control and timely replenishment.


• Coordinate maintenance requirements and ensure all spa equipment is properly maintained and operational.


• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, hygiene, and company policies and procedures.


• Oversee spa reservations, scheduling, and workforce planning to maximize operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.


• Maintain strong relationships with product suppliers and partner brands while ensuring compliance with treatment and product standards.


• Collaborate closely with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and support hotel-wide initiatives.


• Ensure accurate administration of spa systems, reports, payroll inputs, and operational documentation.


• Uphold the hotel's grooming standards and ensure all team members consistently present a professional appearance.


• Perform spa reception or operational duties when required to support business needs.

Job requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Spa Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field would be considered an asset.


• Recognized qualification in Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy, or Wellness is considered an advantage.


• Minimum 3 -5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a luxury spa or 5-star hotel environment.


• Proven leadership and team management skills.


• Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and retail sales.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching, and organizational skills.


• Strong guest service orientation with the ability to resolve concerns professionally.


• Proficient in spa management and booking systems (experience with Afrodite Spa Software preferred).


• Good knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.


• Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
