Senior Procurement Category Officer
(ref.: FG_PCO 08.2026)
The Position:
Reporting to the Group Procurement Category Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for the following:
• Managing end to end procurement activities for indirect spending categories, including IT, Marketing, HR, Facilities and professional services
• Acting as a trusted procurement business partner, providing guidance and challenge to stakeholders throughout the sourcing and contracting lifecycle
• Conducting spend and market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize the supplier base
• Managing competitive sourcing processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP), evaluating bids and negotiating commercial and contractual terms
• Managing supplier relationships and monitoring supplier performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs
• Identifying and tracking Cost Savings, Cost Avoidance and value-creation initiatives
• Monitoring contracts, renewals and renegotiations to ensure competitive terms and business continuity
• Monitoring key Procurement KPIs and providing relevant reports and insights to Management
• Ensuring procurement activities are performed in accordance with the Fourlis Group Procurement Policy and applicable internal procedures
• Supporting vendor risk management and monitoring compliance with supplier contractual obligations, Code of Conduct requirements and sustainability commitments.
Qualifications & Competencies required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field
• Working Experience at least 5 - 7 years preferably in the Procurement Function
• Good knowledge of MS Office and especially MS Word, Excel, and digital skills
• Excellent command of the Greek and English language, both written and verbal
• Previous experience in the use of E-Tender platform
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills across multiple business functions
• Analytical thinking, problem solving & critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage large volumes of quantitative data in a timely manner
• Adaptability in changes
• Strong negotiation skills
• Good knowledge of SAP or another relevant ERP platform
