ΒΟP Technician

Position

Reporting to your regional Lead Technician, you will be expected to deliver scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services on the auxiliary systems of renewable energy assets including the HV/MV substations and the grid lines while maintaining the highest levels of safety complying with all HSE requirements.

You will be based in Livadia (Viotia), Greece.

Position Status

Full Time, Open-ended Employment Contract depending on candidate profile.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your daily activities will include, and you will be familiar with:

• Performing preventive, scheduled corrective and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines, including but not limited to visual inspections of substation equipment, grid lines and internal roads of the assets.


• Supervising specialist and contractor activity during component exchange and providing safety induction to contractors and visitors.


• Performing MV operations.


• Proactive repair or component replacement to prevent complete failure or system down time.


• Reporting maintenance activity via Service Orders in the CMMS.


• Supporting wind and solar plants maintenance works.


• Reporting and planning daily maintenance activity.


• Providing support for warehouse activities while ensuring spare part and tool inventories are continuously up-to-date.


• Providing out of hours and weekend response to equipment breakdown.


• Ensuring the highest level of assets’ availability.

Requirements

• Bachelor (Technological Educational Institute - TEI) in Electrical or Mechanical (or equivalent experience).


• Experience in power generation.


• Significant experience in renewables in a technician capacity will be a plus.


• Languages : Fluency of English is required.


• High level of physical fitness, good health & ability to work at heights.


• Good level of computer literacy (MS office).


• Driver’s license required.


• Residency in Livadia or the surrounding area will be considered as a plus.


• Fulfilled Military Services (for male candidates).
