Junior Accountant

About the role:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance team at SKY express. In this role, you will support revenue accounting activities, customer reconciliations, billing processes, and financial reporting, ensuring the accurate and timely recording of transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who wants to develop expertise in revenue accounting within the dynamic aviation industry.

Responsibilities:

• Process and record accounting transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial and operational data.
• Support billing and revenue accounting activities, including customer account reconciliations.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve accounting processes.
• Support ad hoc projects and other Finance team activities as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1-2 years of working experience in Accounting. Prior experience in Big 4 Audit accounting firm or travel industry will be considered an asset.
• Proficient in IT (MS Office suite, including advanced Excel). Proven experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP ERP or Panasoft.
• Fluency in Greek and English (spoken and written).
