Job Description

  • Research, analyze, and benchmark competitor products to support the development of new and improved products.
  • Source and evaluate raw materials by collaborating with existing suppliers and identifying new sourcing opportunities to meet product requirements.
  • Conduct laboratory tests and experiments to evaluate raw materials and support product design, redesign, and validation, while accurately documenting and analyzing results.
  • Prepare, create, and update technical drawings for product components and related documentation.
  • Support the introduction of new products into mass production by coordinating product transfer activities and preparing the required documentation, materials, and quality standards.
  • Build and assemble prototypes, samples, and test units for research and development activities.
  • Provide administrative support to the R&D department, including coordinating and tracking courier shipments and deliveries.
  • Maintain and update departmental records, documentation, and databases to ensure accurate, organized, and readily accessible information.

Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • 2–3 years of experience in Research & Development, Product Development, Manufacturing, or a similar engineering role.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software, such as SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, or PTC Creo (Pro/ENGINEER).
  • Experience creating and modifying 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of product development processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
  • Hands-on engineering experience in prototype assembly, testing, and the use of workshop or laboratory equipment is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
