We are looking for a Licenses & Subsidies Assistant who will play a key role in supporting the company’s licensing and funding activities, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory, environmental, and operational requirements.


Main responsibilities will include:


Licensing & Regulatory Compliance


Supports the preparation, submission, and follow-up of licensing applications for aquaculture farms, marine facilities, and related infrastructure.



  • Monitors the progress of permits, approvals, renewals, amendments, and other regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with applicable deadlines.

  • Coordinates the collection, review, and organization of technical, environmental, and administrative documentation required for licensing procedures.

  • Assists in the preparation of official correspondence, applications, and submissions to public authorities, regulatory bodies, and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Monitors developments in environmental, spatial planning, and licensing legislation, providing updates on regulatory changes that may impact the company’s operations.

  • Contributes to ensuring the company’s compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and statutory obligations.


Document Management, Monitoring & Reporting



  • Maintains and updates databases, trackers, and records of licenses, permits, approvals, opinions, and related documentation.

  • Monitors permit expiration dates, renewal schedules, and the company’s regulatory commitments to ensure timely compliance.

  • Supports internal and external compliance audits

  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of licensing monitoring, documentation management, and reporting processes.


Investment Projects & Development Programs Support



  • Supports the preparation, organization, and submission of applications and documentation related to investment projects, development programs, and funding initiatives.

  • Collects, reviews, and processes the technical, financial, and administrative information required for the submission of investment proposals.

  • Monitors the progress of investment projects and contributes to the timely submission of supporting documentation, reports, and other required deliverables.


Collaboration & Project Support



  • Collaborates with the Operations, Environmental, Technical Services, Legal, and Project Management departments to meet licensing and permitting requirements.

  • Coordinates communication with external consultants, engineers, public agencies, and competent authorities.

  • Participates in projects aimed at the digitalization and improvement of licensing and reporting processes.


What we are looking for:



  • Bachelor's degree from a University in Environmental Sciences, Marine Sciences, Biology, Agriculture, or a related field.

  • 1-2 years of experience preferably in regulatory compliance, or environmental management.



  • Experience working with public authorities and government agencies, along with knowledge of environmental, permitting, and spatial planning legislation will be considered an asset.



  • Knowledge of GIS, geospatial data, or spatial planning processes will be considered an advantage.

  • Very Good command of English

  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong ability to organize and manage documents and information.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism.
