Procurement Category Officer

The Position:
Reporting to the Group Procurement Category Manager, the Procurement Category Officer is responsible for supporting and executing procurement activities in accordance with the Fourlis Group Procurement Policy, ensuring compliance, transparency, value creation and effective supplier management across the Group.

The Procurement Category Officer will be responsible and accountable for the following:
• Receive, review and challenge procurement requests from internal stakeholders, ensuring completeness, business justification and alignment with procurement processes
• Support and execute sourcing activities, including RFQs, RFPs, tenders and supplier negotiations, in accordance with the approved procurement policy
• Prepare commercial evaluations, bid comparison analyses and award recommendations for approval
• Ensure procurement activities are performed in accordance with the Fourlis Group Procurement Policy and applicable internal procedures
• Support vendor risk management and monitor compliance with supplier contractual obligations, Code of Conduct requirements and sustainability commitments
• Maintain contract templates per category under management, ensuring continuous regulatory compliance and overall contract management efficiency
• Customizes templates in accordance with procurement needs
• Maintain contract repository
• Collaborate with business owners and other functions to ensure procurement requirements are properly defined and executed
• Act as a trusted procurement partner, providing guidance on procurement processes, sourcing strategies and supplier engagement
• Support procurement reporting, spend analysis and continuous improvement initiatives across categories and business units

Qualifications & Competencies Required
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing or Category Management
• Good understanding of sourcing, tendering and supplier management processes
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
• Strong analytical and commercial thinking
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
• Problem solving, negotiation and relationship management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment

Qualifications Considered as an Asset
• Experience in Group Procurement or multi-country procurement environments
• Knowledge of contract management principles
• Experience in SAP Ariba or equivalent sourcing platforms
