YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role to manage and support the organization's server infrastructure, cloud services, and core IT systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows and Linux administration, knowledge of cloud technologies, and a solid understanding of networking, databases, and telephony. 

The role will also coordinate with external service providers responsible for networking and identity-related services while working closely with the Workplace team to ensure seamless delivery of IT services. This role will be hired under a full-time external employment contract.

More specifically:


  • Administer and support Windows Server and Linux environments. 
  • Monitor, maintain, patch, and troubleshoot server infrastructure. 
  • Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes. 
  • Support and administer Microsoft 365 services. 
  • Manage and support public and private cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc.). 
  • Monitor cloud performance, availability, security, and cost optimization. 
  • Coordinate activities related to Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Identity & Access Management services. 
  • Act as the main technical contact for external network and infrastructure partners. 
  • Support network-related projects and coordinate the resolution of connectivity issues. 
  • Perform basic database administration tasks, including backups, monitoring, and maintenance. 
  • Support telephony and unified communication platforms (Microsoft Teams Phone, VoIP, CTI etc.). 
  • Work closely with the Workplace team to align infrastructure, cloud, communication, and end-user computing services. 
  • Maintain technical documentation and follow security best practices. 
  • Participate in infrastructure improvement and modernization initiatives. 


YOUR PROFILE

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Systems Administrator or similar role. 
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server administration. 
  • Good experience with Linux administration. 
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
  • Knowledge of public and private cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, etc.). 
  • Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Identity Management concepts. 
  • Basic knowledge of networking principles (LAN, WAN, VPN, WLAN). 
  • Basic database administration knowledge (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.). 
  • Basic telephony/VoIP administration knowledge. 
  • Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and cybersecurity best practices. 
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and vendor coordination skills.
