MAINTENANCE SENIOR ENGINEER

Elval Colour was founded in 1977 and is a subsidiary of ELVALHALCOR Hellenic Copper and Aluminium Industry. Elval Colour has more than 40 years of experience in aluminium coating and colour matching solutions. Coils and strips can be produced in any colour to satisfy the most demanding aesthetic requirements along with several options of special functional coatings. At our factory located near Thiva, we operate aluminium coatings lines and supportive functions.

We are looking for

Senior Maintenance Engineer

to join our team in our plant at Thiva, Viotia.

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Senior Engineer to lead maintenance activities and ensure the reliability, availability and continuous improvement of the plant's production equipment.

The successful candidate will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities, support technical investment projects, drive equipment performance improvements and lead the maintenance team.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the plant's long-term technical development within a modern industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ensure the prompt and effective resolution of mechanical, electrical and automation breakdowns.
• Monitor equipment reliability and production downtime, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Lead maintenance technicians and contractors, ensuring high performance and continuous development.
• Participate in technical investment and modernization projects.
• Coordinate equipment installations, upgrades and commissioning activities.
• Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance-related procurement requirements.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and prepare technical reports.
• Recommend and implement process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and equipment availability.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
  
  

Qualifications

Mandatory

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Experience in leading maintenance teams.
• Experience in preventive maintenance systems and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of automation and industrial control systems.
• Excellent command of English.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience in continuous process industry.
• Experience in manufacturing environments such as metals, chemicals, paints or heavy manufacturing.
• Project management experience.
• Knowledge of SAP PM will be considered an asset.
